Leica M6 TTL Black .72X
(2019-Present)
The zenith of the Leica rangefinder, with a Through-The-Lens light meter and a better shutter dial ergonomic than the regular M6.
The 0.72x viewfinder makes it easier to work with 28mm frame lines.
Bought on KEH for $2,472.00
Canon Ae-1 Program
(2017-2019, 2022-Present)
One of the most satisfying cameras to use on Program mode.
The first camera I ever bought was the Canon AE-1 at the advice of Andrew Brodhead. Brought it to Europe on a trip with my friend Ryan, captured some of the greatest memories on that thing.
Gave it to my sister for her birthday.
Minolta Hi-matic f
The most compact, fun camera ever. It took decent photos regularly. But when you stuck a cheap super bright Vivitar flash on it, it became the ultimate party companion.
Most of the party photos you see dated before 2019 will have been taken on this. Sadly, I dropped it. The leaf shutter does not fire now.
Bought at Glass Key Photo for $35
Contax T3 Black
This is probably the coolest camera I own. It’s also very hard to find in good condition, but yeah this one’s mine. It’s awesome. You probably want tone but can’t afford it. Let me tell you, it’s totally worth it.
Lenses
Summicron v4 50mm f2
Small, lightweight 50mm that opens to f2. This is what I shoot with most.
Just look at it.
Elmarit 28mm f2.8 (Ca)
Made in Canada this was the first lens I got with the M6. It’s a really sharp lens with no pincushioning.
Canon FL 100-200mm f5.6
Picked this bad boy up for $25. It’s actually a really sharp lens unlike the anesthetic look to the FD lenses. It’s lightweight and unwieldly long.

THE MAGNUM
Nikkor Zoom 200-600mm f9.6 KING RANCH EDITION
Bags and Other Shit
Peak Design 20L Everyday Backpack
I took a 2 week tour of Europe just living out of this thing.
Carried the Minolta Hi-Matic F next to spare underwear and a dozen rolls of film.
Peak design does such a good job and their warranty program must lose them money.
Peak Design 6L Slang
Photowalk rig.
It is pretty rigid so it doesn’t collapse down if you want to pack it for trips.
Can fit an iPad Pro 10.whatever-inch plus Apple Magic case in it, not a smidge bigger than that.
